Installation and Running

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have the following installed:

• Java 8 or higher
• Maven (for building the project)

Steps to Install and Run the Application

1. Clone the Repository
   Clone the repository to your local machine:

   git clone https://github.com/your-username/StageOps.git

2. Navigate to the Project Directory
   Go to the project directory:

   cd StageOps

3. Build the Project
   Run the following Maven command to clean and install the project dependencies:

   mvn clean install

4. Run the Application

   • Option 1: Running with Maven
     After a successful build, you can run the application with the following command:

     mvn spring-boot:run

   • Option 2: Running the JAR file
     If you prefer to run the JAR file directly, navigate to the directory containing the generated StageOps.jar file, then run:

     java -jar StageOps.jar

• If you encounter any issues while running mvn clean install, make sure all dependencies are correctly downloaded and try running the command again.
