v1.37.0
Reolink autotracking: separate the camera-side capability from Frigate compatibility (#124 part 2, Reolink slice).
Changed
- Frigate incompatibility: on the 20 mechanical-PTZ Reolink with a Frigate config, set
configs.frigate.autotracking: false+ note ("Reolink uses absolute ONVIF PTZ; Frigate autotracking requires relative movement"), andptz.onvif_ptz: absoluteon the 18 that expose ONVIF. - Camera-side completion: set
ptz.autotracking: trueon 10 more Reolink models confirmed to have onboard auto-tracking via official Reolink sources (product pages / support compatibility table) — Argus Track, E1, E1 Zoom, RLC-823S2, Omvi 3I PoE/WiFi, Omvi X16, Go PT Plus, Go PT Ultra, Go Ranger PT. Reolink camera-side autotracking coverage: 24 → 34.
Notes
- Camera-side auto-tracking (onboard, which works) stays distinct from Frigate-driven (which doesn't, on Reolink's absolute PTZ).
- 4 of the 10 (E1, Go PT Plus/Ultra, Go Ranger PT) gate auto-tracking to newer hardware revisions; our entries track the model (current production), so
truereflects the shipping hardware. E1 Zoom tracking is pan-only. Omvi X16 is a CES-2026 product (blog-sourced). - Confirmed NO (left unset): RLC-423, Argus PT, Argus PT 2K, Go PT (base), Keen Ranger PT. Fixed dual-lens (Duo/Elite) excluded — digital tracking, not mechanical.
