SRanibro v0.1.7-beta

This beta focuses on practical eyelid tuning, stable inference, and a cleaner setup flow for supported hotmirror VR headsets.

Hotfix — 2026-08-07

  • Improved EyeWide response for users whose previous output was weak or inactive.
  • EyeWide now evaluates both physical eyes through SRanipal's more responsive right-eye model head: the left image is mirrored into that head, while the right image keeps its natural orientation.
  • Eyelid openness and blink handling remain on the validated left-head route; the new EyeWide path has its own baseline and is suppressed during blinks or invalid eyelid tracking.
  • The live response rail now separates normal openness and EyeWide clearly: green stops at the Wide boundary, and orange alone represents EyeWide.
  • This hotfix replaces both SRanibro.exe and the recommended bundle. The VRCFaceTracking module and eyebrow.bin are unchanged.

  • Visual per-eye openness thresholds with live response, EyeWide range, and Squeeze range tuning.
  • Optional mirrored-right inference for more consistent left/right eyelid behaviour.
  • GPU eyelid inference with validated CPU fallback.
  • Eyebrow source selection from the main screen: SRanipal-style EyeWide link or independent estimation.
  • Bundled generic eyebrow.bin; personal fitted eyebrow models still take priority.
  • Simplified device, filter, preview, and eyelid controls.
  • Eye-camera preview can be hidden to reduce foreground rendering cost.
  • Recenter and baseline recovery improvements.
  • StarVR One connection recovery: SRanibro can try the available connection routes, verify that stereo images and wearable data are actually live, and remember the route that succeeds.
  • The official build includes the separately validated StarVR runtime; no manual StarVR DLL path is required.
  • Updated VRCFaceTracking module v0.2.3.

SRanipal EyePrediction weights are still required for eyelid inference. Keep eyebrow.bin beside the executable for automatic discovery.
