SRanibro v0.1.8-beta

One download now supports both Hotmirror headsets and PSVR2.

Unified headset build

  • The normal and PSVR2 betas are now one SRanibro.exe.
  • Supported routes: Pimax Crystal / Crystal Super (VR4), StarVR One, Varjo, and PlayStation VR2 through PSVR2Toolkit.
  • The Headset selector now uses readable product names instead of internal device keys.
  • Existing sranibro-psvr2.toml settings are imported automatically when no normal sranibro.toml exists. The old file is retained for rollback.
  • PSVR2 still requires PSVR2Toolkit and SteamVR, but does not use a Tobii runtime.
  • Dream Air / SE (XR5) remains paused and is not part of this unified build.

EyeWide and eyelid stability

  • Added Set Wide neutral beside Recenter. Keep both eyes relaxed for about one second to establish the current Wide neutral reference.
  • Wide entry is no longer a fixed global offset. Each eye now derives its own threshold from robust neutral-noise measurements, with protection against a blink or saccade contaminating the capture.
  • The live response rail now displays the actual ch2 EyeWide state and its learned boundary.
  • Automatic wearing-position recovery now adjusts only the open-side reference. It no longer drags the full-close endpoint and progressively makes the eyes harder to close; Recenter still clears the session correction.

  • SRanibro-v0.1.8-beta-unified-bundle.zip — recommended; application, generic eyebrow model, VRCFaceTracking module, and setup guide.
  • SRanibro.exe — unified application only.
  • eyebrow.bin — bundled generic eyebrow model.
  • SRanibro-VRCFT-module.zip — VRCFaceTracking module v0.2.3.

SRanipal EyePrediction weights are still required for eyelid inference. Keep eyebrow.bin beside the executable for automatic discovery.
