Cannot load Reports menu

I installed Chamilo on laragon for windows. however when i try to open the reports menu, it throws an error. see attached. please assist with solution steps

PHP 8.4 is not supported at this time (so I would recommend moving to PHP 8.3 if laragon allows it).

However, the error message from platform_check.php clearly says you are running PHP 7.4, which I assume is some per-directory configuration in your Laragon setup.

Finally, from apache_laragon_error_log.txt, I see that the PHP-LDAP extension is not enabled. It is (sadly) a requirement to install Chamilo (as stated in https://2.chamilo.org/documentation/installation_guide.html)

I'm not sure what your process was when installing Chamilo, but this looks a bit messed up.

My suggestion:

• delete the .env file if it exists on your Chamilo install (this will break your current installation and trigger a new installation - keep a backup if you are already using this Chamilo installation in production, but given the domain name, I doubt it)
• configure Laragon to use PHP 8.3 instead of 8.4
• make sure there is nothing that forces your Chamilo directory (C:\laragon\www\chamilo) to be treated as PHP 7.4

i can click open other menus, but when i click the Reporting menu, the Course, keeps rolling and then the Error message appears to please contact the platform administrator

the version of php (php-8.3.30-Win32-vs16-x64) that i installed on laragon is throwing up deprecation errors.
how do i disable this or correct it?

what is the best php version to install for chamilo without errors?

In Laragon, replace MySQL 8.4 with MySQL 8.0.
Try using PHP 8.2 and 8.3 with that database version.

MySQL 8.4 has very strict limitations.
In local environments like Laragon, this can cause slow performance or unnecessary spikes in resource usage.

I just installed the latest version on chamilo.org : 2.0.3
My settings are
PHP 8.3.28
MySQL 8.4.7
Just after installing, I do get the same OOPS screen that you show.
Just close your web browser, clear the cache and, using the correct virtual host (the one pointing public directory, Chamilo is running fine.
I haven't tested it yet, but I can create users and courses.
I now have do do some testings.
