  • Smart Auto-Fit Columns

    • The file preview table now automatically calculates optimal column widths for file names, target timeline folders, and timestamps so text is never cut off or clipped.

  • 🛡️ Windows-Standard Folder Isolation (Folder (1))

    • 100% Data Safety: Existing folders in your destination (e.g. Office Files) are preserved completely untouched in-place.
    • Single Unified Output: Incoming files for colliding categories are neatly grouped into a single new Office Files (1) folder containing all your date subfolders (2026, 2025, etc.) without spawning duplicate (2), (3), (4) folders.

  • ⚡ Real-Time Collision Warnings

    • Toggling options like Create 'Sorted_...' Subfolder or Use Source Folder as Destination immediately updates collision alerts in real time.
    • The conflict dialog clearly displays the exact target path (e.g. Office Files (1)\2026) and explicitly confirms that your original folder remains untouched.

  • 🔄 Auto-Fresh Disk Scan

    • Clicking Start Organization now performs a instant live re-scan of your folder, ensuring any files added or modified in Explorer while TimeFold was open are caught accurately.

  • 🎨 Improved Preferences & Completion Flow

    • Persistent Options & Defaults: All option checkboxes (Use Source as Output, Create Sorted Subfolder, Include Folders) persist across app restarts and cleanly reset when using Reset to Defaults.
    • Clear Completion Screen: Redesigned completion view featuring a prominent green Open Output Folder primary button alongside Organize Another and Exit.
