Chariot Desktop 0.1.3
Apple silicon, macOS 14 or later.
First launch
This build is ad-hoc signed rather than notarized, so macOS blocks the
first launch with "Apple could not verify … is free of malware".
That is what macOS shows for any app it cannot verify; nothing was found.
- Drag the app to Applications and open it once.
- On the blocking dialog, click Done.
⚠️ Not "Move to Trash" — it is the highlighted button and it
deletes the app. - Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security,
and click Open Anyway next to the Chariot Desktop message. - Open the app again and click Open Anyway.
Or, in one step:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Chariot Desktop.app"
You only do this once. Updates after that are signed, verified, and
install without the prompt.
