rb209-mcp v0.2.0

MCP server exposing all 97 AHDB RB209 Web API v2 endpoints as tools, plus a guided nutrient-planning skill.

Install (Claude Desktop, non-technical)

  1. Download rb209-mcp.mcpb below.
  2. Double-click it — Claude Desktop opens the installer.
  3. Enter your own AHDB RB209 email and password.

You need your own RB209 Web API licence (register at https://rb209.ahdb.org.uk/Home/RequestAccess). Credentials stay on your machine.

What's new since v0.1.0

  • Installable bundle — packed with the official MCPB CLI (fixes a Claude Desktop install failure caused by the previous archive layout).
  • Guided nutrient-planning skill — rewritten as a 5-phase, question-driven workflow: it interviews the user for the field's real details instead of assuming, resolves the lookup IDs, builds a valid request, and explains the result. Includes a troubleshooting table mapping the API's validation errors to fixes.
  • All five recommendation paths verified live against the API, each with a committed request/response fixture: arable, grass, organic materials, MANNER outputs, and manure lab analysis.

Bundle loads all 97 tools; 39 unit tests + an opt-in live integration test pass.
