v1.3.0
What's new
Year-to-year Close Map continuity
- New fiscal years retain each account's lead-sheet mapping instead of making the close structure start over.
- The immediately preceding year's explanation, evidence references, notes, and signoff history appear as reference-only context beside the current balance.
- Current-year evidence, preparer signoff, and reviewer signoff must still be completed fresh; prior approval never carries forward as current approval.
Client and firm co-branding
- Save a client display name, tagline or address line, accent color, and logo from Firm Settings.
- PDF and Excel close packages lead with the client's identity while retaining the accounting firm's logo and details as the preparer.
- Client accents may inherit the firm's color or use their own.
- An assistant may propose client-brand text and colors for review, but only a person can approve them or upload and remove logos.
Review and security
- Branding proposals appear in Assistant Review with the other decisions waiting on a person.
- Client branding and proposal history live in the encrypted book, travel with backups, and are audit-logged.
- Assistant permissions remain enforced by the database: branding proposals are append-only, and the assistant cannot approve its own work or read logo data.
Existing books are upgraded automatically when opened. macOS is signed and notarized for Apple Silicon; Windows users should use the setup installer.
