What's new

Help and updates without background network calls

  • A new Help & Updates page shows the installed LedgerTB version and remains
    available even while a book is locked.
  • Clear macOS, Windows, and MCP restart instructions explain how to install a
    new release without affecting books or backups.
  • Guided links open the latest release, bug report, feature request, and private
    security-report pages in the user's browser.
  • LedgerTB does not contact GitHub, check for updates in the background, or add
    telemetry. GitHub opens only after the user deliberately chooses a link.
  • The marketing-site footer now makes releases and feedback forms easier to
    find.

The macOS build is signed and notarized for Apple Silicon. Windows users should
use the setup installer.
