What’s new

Undo an import and review it again

If a bank import was posted to the wrong account or needs to be categorized again:

  1. Open Import Transactions → Import History.
  2. Find the import and open Undo this import and review it again.
  3. Choose the reversal date and the correct bank or credit-card account, enter a short reason, and confirm.
  4. LedgerTB opens the replacement transactions directly in Review & Categorize.

Nothing is deleted. LedgerTB keeps the original accounting history, posts an equal-and-opposite reversal, and links the replacement transactions to it. The General Ledger hides complete original/reversal pairs by default to keep the everyday view readable; uncheck Hide fully reversed import corrections to see them. Excel exports always include the complete labeled history.

LedgerTB will stop the undo if the import touches a completed reconciliation, closed period, prior reversal, or active correction chain.

Other improvements

  • Safer book passphrase rotation using operating-system file locks.
  • More reliable local macOS release signing before Apple notarization.

Downloads

  • Windows: use LedgerTB-windows-x64-setup.exe for the normal installation.
  • Mac: download LedgerTB-mac.zip, unzip it, and drag LedgerTB to Applications. The app is signed and notarized by Apple.
