What's new

Financial-statement account lines now open the underlying General Ledger
directly. Use the adjacent new-tab control to keep the source report open
while investigating detail.
Browser Back and LedgerTB's return links restore the originating report,
selected client, account, and reporting period after a drill-down or journal
entry review.
General Ledger keeps its account filter when the dates change instead of
falling back to all accounts.
Report amounts are selectable, so figures can be copied into a workpaper,
email, or reconciliation without retyping them.

Financial reports now include presets for the current and prior fiscal year,
current and prior calendar year, recent 30- and 90-day periods, month-end,
and year-end dates.
Firm Settings includes a per-book display preference for MM/DD/YYYY,
DD/MM/YYYY, or YYYY/MM/DD. New books default to the US format, while
stored accounting dates remain unambiguous ISO values internally.

Cash-flow section totals use wording that remains accurate whether cash was
provided or used, including comparative statements whose periods have
opposite signs.
The repeated Operating Expenses heading is removed from the screen,
spreadsheets, and close-package PDF.
Negative statement amounts use parentheses consistently in close-package
Excel and PDF output.
Ambiguous legacy Capital subtypes remain visible for human classification
instead of silently resolving to Owner Contribution. Known seed charts and
unmistakable corporate capital accounts retain their intended grouping;
existing books are never rewritten automatically.
The assistant income-statement contract now documents classification
readiness and warnings for current and comparative periods.

Windows: use LedgerTB-windows-x64-setup.exe for the normal
installation.
Mac: download LedgerTB-mac.zip, unzip it, and drag LedgerTB to
Applications. The app is signed and notarized by Apple.
