Godot MCP 0.3.0 — Windows x64

Download and set up
- Download
Godot-MCP-0.3.0-Windows-x86_64-20261012.zipand its.sha256. - Extract into a permanent writable folder and open your project in
Godot.exe. - Enable Editor Settings > Network > Godot MCP.
- Double-click Setup.cmd to choose your agent, or Setup-OpenCode.cmd for OpenCode.
- Refresh/reopen the agent and run Check-Connection.cmd.
No separate Node/npm installation, compiler, API key, or administrator access is
needed for the bundle. Setup preserves unrelated settings and backs up existing
configuration. New OpenCode configurations use V2; existing V1/V2 formats stay
intact. For an upgrade, run godot-mcp.cmd setup --client opencode --replace
from the new folder. Disable any old godot-opencode registration separately.

What's new
- 83 MCP tools, including nine animation tools for nested AnimationTree
graphs, libraries/clips, typed tracks/keys, validation, and owned-runtime control. - Graph/clip edits support scene-version guards, local copies, dry runs, and one
undo action. Saving is explicit. - Ordinary non-
@toolAnimationTree controllers and their exported values survive
authoring, undo/redo, packing and save/reload. Unsafe editor-executing scripts
and custom scripted AnimationNodes remain restricted. - All 16 runtime animation actions, state machines, blend spaces, transitions,
one-shots, typed parameters, and root-motion inspection. - Double-click setup/diagnostic launchers, portable settings, the editor console
companion, and matching Windows export templates/console companions. - Direct3D 12 Agility runtime and notices included for the editor and templates.
Verification and assets
The attached verification report certifies the exact source revision and package
manifest. The release gate includes the dependency audit, default bridge suite,
90 native MCP tests (2,234 assertions), 3 UndoRedo tests (51 assertions), packaged
launcher/setup checks, exact tool discovery, restart/reconnect and moved-bundle
checks, isolated animation/protocol/release/settings workflows, and real Windows
debug/release exports with all four standalone main/console game runs.
The ZIP includes preinstalled matching templates. The optional
Godot-MCP-0.3.0-Windows-x86_64-templates.tpz installs the same Windows templates
through Manage Export Templates > Install from File. Checksums accompany
both archives; ZIP/TPZ CRCs, inventory and entry hashes are verified before upload.
Source is published on master; both previous branch histories are preserved
without force-pushing. Reproduction commands and support boundaries are in the
build/test guide.
This does not certify every GPU driver, renderer, extension or game project.
Agents can modify projects: review changes and use version control/backups.
Release exports do not expose the debug-only MCP runtime integration.
