Install

macOS: download the .dmg, open it, drag Dechonk into Applications.
Dechonk is not yet notarized: if macOS blocks the first launch, open
System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and click "Open Anyway".

Windows: download the -setup.exe installer and run it. SmartScreen
may show "Windows protected your PC" until the installer builds
reputation: choose "More info", then "Run anyway".

Dechonk never touches your source files. Folders are always sent past
the event horizon first (your OS Trash, fully recoverable); the
singularity (permanent delete) is opt-in and always asks.
