v0.3.17 — The read-me-first node learns to teach
The read-me-first node learns to teach.
Changed
- The example canvas welcome node now opens with Basic controls: pan, zoom, marquee select, new question, reading panel, wiring, the summary/full-text switch on wires, and undo. The one rule gets its most operational phrasing yet: only wires become context.
- Ghost instructions exorcised: the welcome node claimed a
?shortcut that never existed and pointed at a toolbar icon that has since moved. The tutorial and backup export both live under the ⋯ menu, and the text now says so.
Note: the example canvas is seeded once. To see the new welcome node, load the example canvas again from the landing screen.
Which file do I download?
Already installed? None: the app updates itself (canvas menu → Check for updates). Fresh install, pick by system:
| Your system | File |
|---|---|
| macOS, Apple Silicon (M1 and later) | ThoughtDAG-0.3.17-arm64.dmg |
| macOS, Intel | ThoughtDAG-0.3.17.dmg |
| Windows | ThoughtDAG.Setup.0.3.17.exe |
| Linux | ThoughtDAG-0.3.17.AppImage |
Not sure which Mac: Apple menu → About This Mac. The .zip, .blockmap and .yml files serve the in-app updater; ignore them. Or skip the table: the download page detects your platform.
