Feature Request: configuration to suppress frequent notification text update, or collapse notification to one row?

To prevent distraction, can BasicSync be configured to:

• suppress frequent notification text update (which reflects connected/disconnected/syncing/not syncing status, because they frequently change when network condition changes & folder sync completes & etc; it frequently make the notification float to top), only show the basic running status of syncthing
• collapse notification text to one row (remove Notification.BigTextStyle())?

Thanks for the suggestion.

I've added a "detailed notifications" option in #220 that toggles whether the folder and device statuses are shown in the notification. If that's turned off, it'll revert back to the behavior from before version 2.2 where eg. the notification only says "Syncthing is running". However, if Syncthing is not allowed to run (metered network, etc.), the list of reasons still be shown.

This should address the notification reordering issue too. BasicSync only refreshes the notification for data shown in the notification, so if folder/device state is hidden, it won't be refreshed when those details change.

Notification.BigTextStyle() will not be used when the details are hidden.

Is that good enough for your use case?
