Hey @zambonic! Thanks for the request, and glad the rest of QuickAdd fits so well. I can see how the picker doesn't make sense for a vault like yours. It's fixed in #2193, which will ship in the next QuickAdd release. What was going on: the picker showed a note's first level-1 heading instead of its file name. That came from an earlier request by someone whose notes are named with IDs like Now the picker shows the file name. A note named with an ID (a timestamp like

Let me know if that covers it :) |

QuickAdd 2.32.0 is out with this. To update, open Settings → Community plugins, click Check for updates, and then Update next to QuickAdd. The picker then shows your notes by file name, with nothing to set up. The release notes show it under "Note pickers show file names", with a Capture that logs a line under a note's |

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
I just found Quick Add and it does exactly what I want, actually even better than I had imagined!
I only wanted to add a datestamped Log entry to the current file. That was super easy to do, exactly how I wanted. Wonderful.
I do have to navigate to the target file first, though. THEN, I saw that Quick Add can give me a file-picker, so I can make an entry to any file from anywhere! Amazing, yes!
BUT, the files in the file-picker are displayed in a way that make absolutely no sense for me or my Vault. The docs call this "Friendlier names in the picker." For me it is so unhelpful that I would rather navigate manually to the File than use the picker. When the rest of the plugin is so flexible and ideal, it's odd for this aspect to be both unconfigurable and kinda esoteric.
My files have multiple H1s (they aren't webpages; they're documents). I realize this is frowned upon by some but it is absolutely ideal for me. This makes the file picker not only difficult to parse (since I'm looking for a file name, not a heading), but also needlessly cluttered, with many entries for most Files.
Please consider an option to list only {{FILE/TITLE}} in the picker.
Also, since typing doesn't work in the picker, having control over the sort order (ascending/descending, by alpha or by recently-opened) would be helpful.
