Hi! I love the concept of the multi format, but I find it unintuitive/constraining.
In the format syntax document, it says: "In a Capture, multi-select becomes a list only when capturing into a brand-new note’s front matter (Create file if it doesn’t exist, without a template). Other capture shapes write comma-separated text."
I would like to request that the format of lists are optional, rather than imposed based on the circumstances they're inserted into. I almost exclusively (would) use lists in frontmatter, but I always use templates, so it doesn't format correctly. I'd also find it useful to have the option to create vertical lists in markdown.
