Fix: Claude Code isolated worktrees work in every repository (WO-168).
The user-scoped plugin registers a WorktreeCreate hook, and a registered hook replaces Claude Code's default worktree creation. In 2.4.1 the hook printed no path outside VibeOS projects, which broke --worktree, EnterWorktree, subagents with worktree isolation, and background sessions in every other repository. 2.4.2:
- works in any git repository;
- honours
worktree.baseRef(freshorhead; local, then project, then user settings); - reopens only registered, usable linked worktrees;
- refuses symlinked worktree paths and invalid names;
- prints only the path on stdout.
Verified by 28 hook tests (bash 5 and macOS bash 3.2) and the full suite (445 passed). A GPT-6 Sol cross-vendor review returned PASS on the final round. Known limit, unchanged from 2.4.1: if copying a setup file fails after the worktree is created, a later reopen returns the worktree as it is.
Install: git clone https://github.com/chieflatif/vibeos-plugin.git && cd vibeos-plugin && git switch --detach v2.4.2, then follow docs/INSTALLATION.md.
