Installation and Compatibility Testing:

Verify that the app installs correctly on supported devices and operating systems. Test the app on different devices, screen sizes, and resolutions to ensure compatibility. Check for installation and uninstallation without any issues

Description:

  1. Know what are the minimum requirements of the Android version, ram size, and local storage to install the Chimple(Cuba)
  2. Verify App Installation on Different OS Versions without any crashes
  3. Know the hidden features or required permission of the mobile when we are installing the chimple(Cuba)
  4. Check Phone authentication and Google authentication are simple to use in all listed devices
  5. Test alignment of text, icons, and drop-downs in the process of installing and completing the creation of Chimple account
  6. Check Chimple icon and Name is coming in the Android menu
  7. Test the app's behavior when updating from an older version to a newer version.
  8. Test the app's behavior when the device is experiencing low memory. (If there are any other apps Open)
  9. Verify App Uninstallation

Functional Testing:

Validate all app features and functionalities against the requirements. Test UI elements, navigation, buttons, and links for proper functioning. Verify user interactions and inputs for expected behavior. Check error handling and messages for user-friendly feedback.

Description:

  1. Varify whether we are able to Play all the subject with proper chapter name, lesson name in selected language
  2. Varify is there any repeated content in same lesson
  3. Varify that we are able to enter right answer
  4. Varify the score should be replicated in LeaderBoard

Connectivity Testing:

Test the app's behavior under various network conditions (Wi-Fi). Check for proper handling of connection drops and reconnection.

Description:

  1. Varify the app connectivity in different wifi networks
  2. Varify the behaviour of app in good and poor wifi network
  3. Varify the app behavior when we lost the connection and Reconnected with same or different Wifi network

Offline Functionality Testing:

Validate the app's behavior when there is no internet connection. Check if offline data sync is accurate and reliable.

Description:

  1. Suppose when we down loaded the app , after new user open that app, suddenly our internet connection was not there, on that time we can able to login or not.
  2. while we are playing one lesson card , no network and at all the user will struck there only or else the video will paly automatically or not
  3. If they don't have our internet connection , in this app all chapters and lesson card can display or not
  4. while user are playng this app unfortuantely the andriod phone have net work issues even they will continue with a same speed or lessons can open with in a minutes.
  5. Some users will think even there is no network in some rural areas how can they children will learn these subjects or the app Even it can't open atleast home page also
  6. for example learning apps and some youtube videos even there is no internet connection also, it will paly some videos and lessons
  7. once we have to verify the app how much Mb and how it is consuming the data .
  8. even some lesson cards without network also, it will play atleast some lessons and chapters.

Interrupt Testing:

Test how the app behaves during incoming calls, notifications, and interruptions. Verify that the app saves its state and resumes correctly after interruptions.

Description of scenario's:

  1. Test if the user is able to interact with the app when notifications are received.
  2. Test if the user is able to interact with the app when user gets any calls.
  3. Check the behavior of the app when user gets flash messages.
  4. Verify if the data of the user is present even after switching between other apps and returning to chimple.
  5. Test the app behavior when the device goes to sleep and when reopened the app.
  6. When user opens the status bar in the device while using the app check the behavior of the app.
  7. Verify the behavior of the app when it is suddenly closed and reopened.

Usability Testing:

Evaluate the app's user interface for consistency, clarity, and ease of use. Verify that the app follows design guidelines and provides a smooth user experience. Check for accessibility features to support users with disabilities.

Description:

  1. Principle that identifies the need for language , icons, symbolism and all other recurring elements with in user interfaces to remain the same across different tasks.
  2. If new users easily verify and it is eco friendly app,
  3. Asking participants to perform activities or specific tasks related to the product or service while their interactions and observed levels of the task.
  4. If he missed any letters or selecting colors and matching frames and letters , but immediately it will display and even the new user can't go to front levels.
  5. Labels- used by assistive technologies ,like voiceover and talkback.
  6. Hits area size and view of UI designs how easy the andriod app is to navigate or not
  7. New user also easily identify the colors and textback ground images and complete the task and getting from star of this task.

Data transfer testing to Firebase

Description of scenario's:

  1. Validate that the data or event is successfully sent and received by Firebase Analytics or Firebase Realtime Database Check key events like lessonend, first_open, gameEnd

App Performance Across Different Devices:

Test the app on low-end, mid-range, and high-end devices. Ensure the app performs well across different hardware configurations. Take any 3 devices and lets test and give our observation

Description:

  1. Launch and Response time on each device
  2. Test Phone authentication and Gmail login time's taken by the devices
  3. Test the loading time of each screen on the different devices
  4. Chimple performance when a lot of other applications opened in the background
  5. Test the response time of each screen element (switching screen, header icons, home screen sub-tab, Drop-downs, Lesson card scrolling, opening lesson, etc)
  6. lesson's loading in the suggestions, liked, history, search
  7. Test the performance of each screen when the devices come back from the sleep mode

App upgrade testing:

To ensure existing Chimple app can be upgraded to latest release app Ownership - ?

Description:

  1. Playstore update prompt when the update is available
  2. In-app update pop-up when the updates are available
  3. Test phone number and email authentication
  4. Check old profiles are present in the latest version after login
  5. Check all previous data is synced into the latest version of Chimple
  6. Test basic functionalities
