• Evoo AI v1: Evoo's own polish model, fine-tuned for dictation

Qwen3-0.6B fine-tuned on 43,000 dictations, selectable in Settings › Smart cleanup › Model. It is asked
with the one-line instruction it was trained with, and polishes every English dictation of four words or
more after the rules (lists the rules laid out are left alone). With rules first, on 300 held-out
dictations, 78 come out exactly right against 43 for stock Qwen3-0.6B. In evoo-cli: corrections 82/85
(stock 80), holdout 28/30, golden 68/69, about 0.3 s per dictation on an 8 GB M1.

evoo-cli --model-file runs a local GGUF as the polish model, for testing before publishing. The model's
Hugging Face revision is filled in once it is uploaded.

Dictionary is for personal names: well-known names are no longer learned or used to replace other words

• Screen and edit learning skip names everyone knows (Google, Kaggle, Netflix…); already-learned ones are removed
• A well-known word in the dictionary only fixes its own capitals
• "diction dictionary" → "dictionary" (a word started twice); "I fill tower" → "Eiffel Tower" (landmarks)

Names stay as said: "Google" is no longer changed to a similar word in your dictionary

• The name fixer leaves well-known names alone (Google, Amazon, AWS…); real mishearings (Deva → Divya) still fixed
• A polish that drops or swaps a name, acronym or number is rejected
• Polish instructions: names, places, events, dates and numbers stay exactly as written; keep the speaker's tone

Alarms and ringing timers by voice; quiet recordings are no longer dropped when words were heard

• "set an alarm for 7 AM", "wake me up at 6:30", "set a timer for 15 minutes", "cancel all alarms"
• Evoo rings them itself (repeating sound, Stop / Snooze window); saved across restarts
• A recording under the loudness gate is kept if the speech model already made words of it; otherwise the pill says so

Tool runner: read the turn markers as single tokens; stop on the end marker

The converted model file didn't flag <start_of_turn> as special, so prompts reached the model garbled.
Round-three model on 344 unseen phrasings: 79% fully right, 93% right tool, 370 ms.
