Release list
v0.1.10
0.1.10
Released: 2026-10-12
Improvements
- Refreshed the interface with an orange brand palette, compact 4px sizing, flat sidebars, segmented pane tabs, and consistent hover and selection highlights.
- Set all interface text in the bundled Geist and Geist Mono fonts, so every platform renders the same typeface at a larger, more readable scale. Your chosen SQL editor font is unchanged.
- Improved responsiveness with large navigator trees, pins, quick search, and result pages with large selections.
- Long text cells in result grids now show a single-line preview, while editing and copying keep the full value.
- Aligned dialogs, menus, and status messages on one consistent design.
Fixes
- Fixed a failed sidebar or quick-search history request being mistaken for a failed workspace save or shutdown flush.
- Fixed document tab titles eliding and confirmation dialogs scrolling when their text fits.
- Fixed a separator line appearing under the macOS title bar.
- Fixed SSH host key approval on Windows rejecting every known-hosts file path.
Upgrade notes
- macOS users on 0.1.7 or earlier must manually install the new DMG once to switch to the Pages update feed. Normal app data and credentials are preserved.
- Existing Windows ZIP users must install the per-user installer once. Keep the portable folder until you choose to remove it.
- Linux users who have not entered the signed update feed must manually download and launch the new AppImage once at their chosen path.
Downloads and requirements
- macOS DMG: Apple Silicon, macOS 26.0 or later.
- Windows installer: Windows x64, per-user installation.
- Linux AppImage: Linux x86_64, built on Ubuntu 24.04; compatibility with older distributions is not claimed.
The Windows installer is unsigned. SmartScreen may warn, and Smart App Control or organization policy may block it. The update signature does not grant SmartScreen reputation.

v0.1.8
0.1.8
Released: 2026-09-30
Features
- Added signed update checks and installation for Windows and Linux, plus a per-user Windows installer.
- Added syntax-colored JSON views for cells, rows, and result pages.
- Added local diagnostics with a Help action to review and manually export a privacy-safe ZIP containing bounded events, UI stalls, memory trends, and unclean-exit evidence.
Improvements
- Improved viewing, copying, and exporting binary and unfamiliar database values, including PostgreSQL text fallbacks.
- Added expandable sidebar pins and more compact schema object columns.
- Improved relationship diagram navigation and layout for dense schemas.
Fixes
- Show workspace recovery failures in window notifications.
- Fixed recent-object navigation when quick search reopens immediately after closing tabs.
- Fixed navigation becoming available too early or staying blocked when object-data tabs have overlapping activity.
- Fixed Windows installer staging-directory replacement and failure dialogs during silent installation and update rollback.
Upgrade notes
- macOS users on 0.1.7 or earlier must manually download and install the new DMG once to switch to the Pages update feed. Normal app data and credentials are preserved.
- Existing Windows ZIP users must install the new per-user installer once. Keep the portable folder until you choose to remove it.
- Existing Linux users must manually download and launch the new AppImage once at their chosen path. Normal app data and credentials are preserved.
Known issues
- Diagnostics do not include SQL, result data, raw crash reports, or stack traces. An unclean-exit marker cannot distinguish a crash from a force quit or power loss; native crash signatures are unavailable.
The update signature does not grant SmartScreen reputation.

v0.1.7
ChoscorDB 0.1.7
This release adds Cmd/Ctrl+P quick search for connections, database objects, and open workspaces. The sidebar now supports pins for database and schema objects and can show multiple saved connections. Navigator actions can rename or drop tables and views, and PostgreSQL system schemas are hidden by default.
Connection setup is simpler, with clearer TLS and timeout options. The SQL result footer now shows the target state, and navigation and workspace controls have been refined.
macOS: Apple Silicon, macOS 26.0 or later. Download the versioned DMG. SHA-256: 896b80037659823e41bea3d3176e2b2295caa87bae9e05cfc29c35fa7bf9f5fb.
Windows and Linux packages will follow native verification. The Windows ZIP is unsigned, so Windows may warn or block it. The Linux AppImage targets x86_64; the Windows ZIP targets x64. There are no Windows or Linux automatic updates in this release.
