Release list
OKF-ONS v0.2.0
First tagged OKF-ONS release and the second public bundle identity.
Highlights
- Adds a deterministic metadata-only Explore Local Statistics lane from the pinned ONSdigital submodule: 108 indicators, 12 explained exclusions, 46 historical aliases, and attribution across 24 producers.
- Adds qualified source, operator, bundle, and semantic authority; explicit non-endorsement; mixed record-level rights; digest-bound contexts; and governed release metadata.
- Expands deterministic search and comparison with producer, statistical, geography, time, unit, derivation, and binding facets.
- Strengthens non-executing MCP plans with snapshot/record bindings, audience, purpose, and expiry while keeping authorisation and live validation outside this repository.
The bundle contains 5,097 records from four source lanes and 19,735 relationships. MCP 2025-11-25 is current, with 2025-06-18 retained for compatibility.
Consumer migration
Read descriptor rights and record-level license_id, license_source_id, and rights_status instead of assuming a scalar bundle licence. Treat publisher facets as non-additive source attribution and use qualified authority fields for source, operational, bundle, and semantic roles.
Assurance boundary
This remains a bounded metadata demonstrator. Statistical accuracy is not certified, source attribution does not imply endorsement, ELS rights are not yet evaluated, ELS execution remains planned only, and checksums are not an authenticated signature.
GitHub's generated source archives do not include submodule contents. Use a recursive clone for full source reproduction, or use the attached prebuilt bundle and verify its attached SHA-256 digest.
