Pudu Environment

pudu-lang-environment is a package for Pudu, written in Pudu, that loads .env files. A program's secrets stay in files kept out of version control; the package reads them, layers them over the process environment, and answers typed values. No problem, description, or rendering the package produces ever contains a value it read, and nothing is thrown: every refusal is a Problem the caller can match on.

This wiki documents the 0.1.0 API. Every program in it was checked with pudu check and run with pudu run against @chrismichaelps/pudu-lang-environment@0.1.0 on Pudu 0.1.3, and every output shown is what it printed. The versioned design notes live in the repository wiki/ directory.
