EctoPad 0.1.3 for iPhone, iPad and Mac: Metroid Prime through Metaforce. This release contains no app: you build your own with PadMint on an Apple Silicon Mac with Xcode. The build never reads your disc.

Get it

Open PadMint (0.5.5 or newer), choose Metroid Prime, then iPhone or iPad or This Mac, and follow the page. EctoPad needs Rust from rustup (PadMint shows the command). For iPhone and iPad, PadMint saves an app file you install with your own Apple ID; on a Mac it saves EctoPad.app. Either way, you import your own Metroid Prime (USA, Rev 2, GM8E01) disc image inside EctoPad (on the Mac: Select Game). The full steps are in the README.

Checked: clean PadMint builds with Apple's Python and an empty PadMint folder for both iPhone/iPad and Mac. The Mac copy opened EctoPad's Select Game screen and reports 0.1.3; neither exact build has been played start to finish.
