HarkinianPad 0.1.0 Developer Preview 2 is a focused iPhone compatibility and touch-control update.
What changed
- Uses the native iPhone widescreen/fullscreen canvas and prevents the fullscreen toggle from leaving the game black.
- Adds a compact iPhone-specific touch layout while preserving the existing iPad layout.
- Improves analog-stick control with filtering and hysteresis to reduce accidental direction changes.
- Stops ordinary gameplay touches from also acting as mouse/A-button presses while touch controls are active.
- Moves the three-dot menu away from the in-game menu tabs on iPhone.
- Advances the app identity to version 0.1.0, build 2.
Install
This release contains an unsigned IPA. It must be signed with your own Apple ID/development identity before it can be installed. AltStore Classic is the recommended route; see the IPA installation guide.
HarkinianPad does not include a ROM or extracted Ocarina of Time game data. You must supply legally obtained game data yourself.

Validation
- Release tag and source commit:
v0.1.0-preview.2/bcc650378bd50c70be3aceb4a4900727e94fa247 - Built with Xcode 26.6 against the iOS 26.5 SDK for arm64; minimum iOS version is 14.0.
- GitHub repository-safety and full unsigned iPhoneOS build checks passed.
- The exact tagged IPA payload was re-signed locally with an Apple Development identity, update-installed without deleting the app on an iPhone and an iPad, and launched successfully on both as version 0.1.0 (2).
- Existing Documents containers, saves, configuration, and locally supplied game data remained intact on both devices.
- The public IPA includes the HarkinianPad rights notice and 42 discovered third-party license/notice files.
- The public IPA contains no ROM, user-generated
oot*.o2rarchive, signing profile, or code signature. Its bundledsoh.o2ris the ROM-free Shipwright port-resource archive.
Known limitations
- AltStore Classic itself was not re-tested for this release because it was not available on the validation Mac or devices. The exact payload was instead validated through the documented Apple Development re-signing fallback.
- Physical-controller coverage, reconnect behavior, rumble, and motion controls remain incomplete.
- The full lifecycle and audio-route interruption matrix remains incomplete.
- This is an early developer preview, not an App Store build or a promise of complete device compatibility.
See rights and licenses and the release checklist for the project’s public-release boundary.
