Chroma Utilities 2.0.1
This small maintenance release tests GitHub update delivery from Chroma Utilities 2.0 to 2.0.1.
- Changed one comment's wording; executable plugin behavior is identical to 2.0.
- Updated version metadata to 2.0.1.
- Verified Plugin Update Checker 5.7 remains the latest stable upstream release.
On a site running version 2.0, open Plugins > Installed Plugins and click Check for updates under Chroma Utilities. When 2.0.1 appears, click Update now and confirm the installed version becomes 2.0.1. Sites with auto-updates enabled can also receive it through their normal scheduled update process.
This is a stable release so the updater can detect it. Both attached ZIPs contain identical installable packages.
Validation: PHP syntax, isolated updater/utility checks, unchanged executable PHP, and ZIP integrity checks.
Chroma Utilities 2.0
Chroma Utilities 2.0 adds GitHub release updates and shared website utilities.
- Bundles Plugin Update Checker 5.7 and connects to chromasites/chroma-utilities.
- Offers updates only from published stable releases with an attached chroma-utilities.zip.
- Sets Public Post Preview's nonce lifetime to 28 days (actual validity varies with nonce time windows).
- Uses valid Postmark sender settings for Gravity Forms notifications, preserving the original sender if settings are unavailable.
- Enables Gravity Forms scrolling to validation errors and confirmations.
- Sets Hello Elementor's viewport to width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0.
Install the attached chroma-utilities.zip on new websites. If migrating an existing website, remove equivalent theme snippets before activation. Version 1.1 must be upgraded manually once because it has no updater.
Enable auto-updates for Chroma Utilities in WordPress if automatic installation is desired. Update notification emails remain suppressed.
Validation: isolated updater/utility integration checks, PHP syntax checks, and release ZIP integrity checks. Full WordPress form submission and update installation still require verification on a website.
