Install
CLI (macOS and Linux, no clone or toolchain needed):
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/chud-lori/datagrep/main/install.sh | bashmacOS app: download datagrep-macos.dmg below, open it, and drag
datagrep.app onto the Applications shortcut (a plain
datagrep-macos.app.zip is also attached if you prefer) — or let
the installer do it:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/chud-lori/datagrep/main/install.sh | bash -s -- --appmacOS Gatekeeper — read this before first launch
datagrep is not notarized (there is no Apple Developer account
behind this project); the app is ad-hoc signed only. If you download
the zip with a browser, macOS quarantines it and the first launch
shows:
"datagrep" cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.
The app is not broken. Either right-click (Ctrl-click)
datagrep.app and choose Open, then Open again in the
dialog — macOS remembers the choice — or clear the quarantine flag:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/datagrep.appThe CLI binaries are not affected when installed via install.sh or
curl (the quarantine flag is added by browsers, not by curl).
