Installing

Download the file for your platform below, then install the media
library separately — it is not bundled, because it is ~1.3 GB.

Windows: ...-windows-x64-setup.exe installs normally;
...-windows-x64-portable.exe runs without installing.
SmartScreen will warn that the publisher is unknown; the builds
are unsigned.

macOS: .dmg (Intel x64 or Apple Silicon arm64). Unsigned
and unnotarized, so after copying to Applications run:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Accessible Weather Center.app"

Linux: .AppImage (chmod +x and run), .deb, or .tar.gz.

Media library

The app runs without it, using system fonts, no music and
screen-reader narration only. For the full experience, download
the assets-*.tar.gz files from this release and unpack them
into the app's data directory — see the README for the exact
path per platform, or run npm run assets:fetch from a source
checkout.
