This version generally seems to work. I tested it with my local Steam install with multiple libraries. It did find Steam app install folders left behind on my drive that were uninstalled via Steam (but didn't delete them, should it?), and it also found Steam apps I had installed but were not visible within my Library within Steam, so that let Steam correct those entries.

Fixes:

  • VDF reading and writing
  • Finding Steam client
  • Finding multiple Steam Libraries
  • Error from no local install (not owned) userdata folder
  • Nulls to left of comparison

For Future Releases:

  • Reports of multiple matches, not sure why?
  • Will match to Steam apps I already flagged as valid in a previous run.
  • I will look deeper into the overall operations of matches and building the sanity table later.
  • Eliminating the need to do Set-Location manually
  • Compiling this to an executable for a better user experience
