WebCrypto Interceptor v0.3.0

Chrome DevTools Protocol instrumentation toolkit for authorized WebCrypto observation, network analysis, and browser security research.

What is New in v0.3.0

  • SubtleCrypto Instrumentation: Automated inspection of crypto.subtle operations (encrypt, decrypt, importKey, deriveKey, etc.) and getRandomValues with call-stack attribution.
  • Dependency Hardening: Upgraded to Puppeteer 25.14.0, resolving all installation and archive-extraction advisories (0 vulnerabilities).
  • Enhanced Extraction Pipeline: Dean Edwards auto-unpacker, media segment filtering (.ts, .m4s suppression to prevent capture bloat), and structured extracted_summary.json generation.
  • Node.js LTS Compatibility: Full test coverage and CI workflows targeting Node.js 22 (Maintenance LTS), Node.js 24 (Active LTS), and Node.js 26 (Current).
  • Automated Verification: 87 passing automated tests, including live headless browser E2E integration test suite (tests/e2e.test.js).
