• cipi smtp Permission denied / AppArmor — msmtp cannot use /etc/cipi/.msmtprc (setgid + AppArmor deny read on /etc/cipi/*), cannot run passwordeval helpers like cat, and cannot write custom log paths under /var/log. Send now uses only system /etc/msmtprc (root:msmtp 640) with an embedded password — no -C, no passwordeval, no logfile. Legacy /etc/cipi/.msmtprc is removed. Configure/test show real msmtp errors and check host reachability. Migration 4.7.22.
