Overview

This version makes PHOTfun even more accessible by enabling full integration with DAOPHOT running inside a Docker container.
You can now use PHOTfun without needing a local DAOPHOT installation—making your photometric workflows truly portable and standalone.

What’s New

• 🐳 Dockerized DAOPHOT Integration (Optional):
  PHOTfun can now automatically communicate with DAOPHOT wrapped inside a lightweight Docker container:

  • No manual DAOPHOT compilation required on your machine
  • Fully compatible with Linux, MacOS, and Windows (Docker Desktop required)
  • Local working directories are mounted inside the container for seamless input/output
  • Easily switch between local or containerized DAOPHOT execution
