Second Stable Release

The second major release to Pathogen has a ton of new features. The most important features include: implementation of agent movement, the genetic algorithm, and a fast/forward feature.

  1. Generate population of agents
  2. Apply button for settings
  3. Agent movement based on genes
  4. Agent movement involving physics
  5. Population size setting
  6. Speed of visualization setting
  7. Genetic Algorithm
    • Selection (agents selected and put into mating pool
    • Mating (agents selected from the pool to be parents)
    • Crossover (DNA of both parents are spliced to create the child's DNA)
    • Mutation (a child's DNA has a chance of mutating)
  8. Generate finish/end node on the maze
