CRoMa 1.0.0 completes the move from negative coverage counts to a positive, shared support contract. RI/MaRI availability is now consistent and numerically stable, CRoMa requires every requested evaluation unit to be scoreable, and benchmark and reporting outputs use one schema. This release also adds public slide-level PCaBiop results and refreshes the documentation and paper presentation.
Breaking changes
RobustnessResult.supportis now required and keyword-only. The staged migration introduced canonical support (#164), moved library warnings and documentation to positive semantics (#165), established one shared benchmark support and cause schema (#166), migrated reporting and publication consumers (#167), and finally removedundefined_frac, metric-prefixed compatibility columns, silent defaults, and legacy-cache conversion (#168).- CRoMa no longer returns partial pooled scores or coverage metadata. An unscoreable sample or subset occurrence now raises a context-rich error, and legacy partial-result caches are rejected and recomputed (#163).
Fixed
- RI and MaRI now share the same defined evaluation units even at extreme valid
tauvalues. Stable MaRI weighting preserves ratios below the normal float64 range, while empty evaluations fail clearly instead of reporting vacuous support (#162).
Added
- The public results site now includes the five-encoder PCaBiop whole-slide cohort with provenance-derived operating points, tail reporting, Pareto analysis, and distribution exploration. Maintainer-only documentation was removed from the user-facing site (#147).
- Documentation pages now provide Open Graph link previews. The distribution explorer uses smooth manuscript-aligned density curves, filled comparisons, clearer axes, and cohort-specific mounts (#148).
Changed
- Paper and citation metadata now use the arXiv v2 title, A distributional robustness margin for pathology foundation models, and the released package version (#148).
- The changelog now records the actual 0.2.0 and 0.3.0 release boundaries, restores correct historical placement, and fixes release-tag links (#146).
