Bug Fixes
Fixed ustar Archive Parsing (Magic Header)
Resolved a regression where .tar files using the ustar (Unix Standard TAR) format were rejected with "Invalid Magic" errors.
The parser should recognize standard ustar headers (including the ustar\000 magic string) and properly skip 512-byte padding blocks, making valid AP/BL files no longer "corrupt"
Corrected LZ4 Stream Handling
Fixed a critical failure when uploading lz4 compressed partitions (e.g., boot.img.lz4, dpm-verified.img.lz4...)
The tool now correctly processes the Samsung-specific lz4 framing, preventing the -5 receive error during the "Upload Binaries" phase
SamSignRem
The tool now detects, extracts, patches, and repacks Samsung firmware archives (AP_.tar.md5 and BL_.tar.md5) found in the same folder
Automatically deletes temporary extraction directories (temp_AP_...) and intermediate files after a successful repack, keeping the workspace clean
Output files are now named based on the input archive (e.g., AP_A346_..._Patched.tar), rather than "work_folder"
Added sr_untar function to handle archive extraction natively within the application using QProcess
If no archives are found, the tool will default to processing loose .lz4 files in the current directory
SamSignRem
Now compatible with Linux, tested on Fedora, while maintaining Windows support
Removed dependency on bundled lz4.exe and Windows Start Menu scanning for 7 Zip. The application now uses system native lz4 and tar tools
Replaced manual memory management with Qt containers such as QByteArray, reducing the risk of memory leaks and buffer overflows
Migrated legacy Windows specific file handling to QFile for improved support of large firmware images
