A bug-fix release for mouse and keyboard input, both contributed by @antonmos. The default runtime path changes only in that clicks, drags and scrolls now carry the modifiers you're holding.

  • Held modifiers reach mouse events (#183). Clicks, drags and scrolls previously carried no modifiers at all, so a Shift-click selection, a Cmd-click or a Shift-drag didn't work as expected. They now carry the keys actually held, whether or not --map-ctrl-to-cmd is on.
  • Ctrl+click → Cmd+click under --map-ctrl-to-cmd (#183). A Windows-style Ctrl+click on a link opens it in a new tab instead of a secondary click. Left button only; it's decided once at button-down and kept for the drag and release, and right/middle clicks and scrolling keep the real modifiers (so Ctrl+scroll is still macOS zoom).
  • No stuck buttons or modifiers after a reconnect (#183). A connection that dropped mid-click left the button held, so every move on the next connection was a phantom drag until the next click. Each newly served connection now releases held buttons and modifiers once — not on a live resize or blank-recovery reactivation. Held modifiers are also cleared after 10 s with no input (MACRDP_MODS_RESYNC_IDLE_MS, 0 disables), so a key-up lost when the client lost focus can't turn every click into a secondary click. Caveat: a drag interrupted by a disconnect completes as a drop at the last cursor position — see docs/known-quirks.md.
  • Ctrl+, → Cmd+, under --map-ctrl-to-cmd (#184), so Ctrl+, opens an app's Preferences.

Pre-tag gates: cargo fmt --check clean on stable and nightly, cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings clean, 262 tests passing.

Artifacts

  • macrdp-v0.9.11-aarch64-apple-darwin-app.zip / .tar.gz — the standard CI build (ad-hoc signed, server only).
  • macrdp-0.9.11-usb.dmg — entitled build with both apps (server + menu-bar controller), notarized and stapled. The only build in which --enable-usb-redirection works, and the one the microphone driver was verified on.

All three are covered by SHA256SUMS.
