Playback speed step

The speed slider moved in whole numbers, which is too coarse for talk-heavy material. The step is now configurable from 0.05 to 1 in the settings panel, defaulting to 1 so existing behaviour is unchanged.

Number keys 1–9 select the first nine slider positions rather than fixed speeds, so they follow the configured step: 1x–9x at a step of 1, or 1x, 1.2x, 1.4x … 2.6x at a step of 0.2.

Settings persist in localStorage, and the step is stored per Plex library, so an Educational library can sit at 0.2 while TV Shows stays at 1. The current library is resolved from the item being played. Libraries you have not configured start at 1, and the playback speed itself always starts at 1x.

Also

• The intro/credits toggles now persist across reloads.
• Typing a step no longer changes the playback speed, and clicks inside the settings panel no longer reach the player.

Upgrading

This release renumbers the extension from 1.0 to 0.0.3 to line up with the release tags. Firefox may refuse to install it over an existing 1.0 install — remove the add-on first, then install the zip.
