Cloud Code CLI is an AI coding agent that runs in your terminal: it reads and
edits code, runs shell commands, searches files, fetches web pages, and chooses
its next step from the feedback it receives. This release ships prebuilt
single-file binaries for Linux (x64/arm64), macOS (x64/arm64), and Windows (x64).

Install

• Install script: curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cloud-teahouse/cloud-code/main/scripts/install.sh | bash
• npm: npm install -g @cloud-teahouse/cloudcode-cli
• Manual: download the archive for your platform below along with
  sha256sums.txt and sha256sums.txt.minisig, verify the checksums are
  signed by the release key, check the archive against them, unpack, and
  run cloud-code --version:

The first release with verifiable artifacts, and the first since the project
was published as a fork of kimi-code.
Highlights:

• Signed releases: every release now ships a minisign (Ed25519) signature
  over sha256sums.txt. /update apply, the npm installer, and install.sh
  all verify it against a public key pinned in the source tree and refuse to
  install a release whose signature is missing or invalid, so checksums no
  longer have to be trusted just because they sit beside the artifacts they
  describe. install.sh uses minisign when the host has it and an inline
  RFC 8032 verifier in python3 otherwise. Auto-install of updates is off by
  default and fails closed when the config cannot be read.
• A TUI that behaves like a GUI: tree-gutter tool details with
  click-to-expand cards (hover highlight, click gray-block expand, ctrl+o
  keyboard expand), consecutive same-tool grouping, a virtual scrollbar with
  smooth grab-delta dragging, floating dialogs, running-tool blink + shimmer,
  ctrl+home/end jumps, a layered bottom slot that clips panels before status
  rows, geometry-driven sticky headers, and a redesigned /workflows panel
  (tree roster, conversational detail, inline interrupt confirmation).
• Claude Code backend port: section-based system prompt assembly, reminder
  authority tiers with long-session behavior re-injection, session resume
  engineering (wire-lite reader, metadata re-append, consistency audit,
  interruption continuation), sandbox exec guard, control-plane denyWrite, MCP
  hardening, coordinator mode, guardian consent bars, and compaction
  attribution anti-forgery.
• Accounts and providers: ChatGPT plan usage fetched straight from the
  usage endpoint, rate-limit reset-credit list and redeem flow in /status,
  plan-exhaustion errors that stop retrying and show the reset time, custom
  provider/model wizards with reserved-name protection, and per-subagent
  models.
• /import: three-source import (Claude Code / Codex / Kimi Code) with a
  deterministic Kimi Code engine — config merge, sessions, input history, and
  opt-in credentials.
• Compaction that actually fires: fixed the double-subtracted savings that
  stalled graduated layers and blocked auto-compaction, aligned the footer
  percentage with the trigger's accounting, and hardened the summarizer.
  Compaction keep policy covers error results, [[keep]] markers, and pinned
  digests.
• Engineering depth: git worktree isolation (EnterWorktree/ExitWorktree),
  output styles with five builtins, /sandbox status and per-session
  on/off, durable project cron, project and user memory, fork subagents,
  custom plugin marketplaces, and dual fullscreen/inline TUI modes.
• Performance: row-height indexing with binary-search hit testing,
  viewport-only steady-state frames, width-keyed caches on the tool-card
  wrappers, and batched replay — long streaming sessions no longer stutter.
• Distribution: bun single-file binaries for five platforms, bilingual
  release notes, three channels (release / beta / dev), and npm publishing
  over trusted publishing (OIDC).
