First public alpha preview build of OpenModeling Core
OpenModeling Core is an experimental numeric and financial modelling environment built around dimensions, groups, cubes, and rules. It is intended for people who build financial models, budgets, forecasts, operational models, and complex spreadsheet-based tools.
This release includes preview builds for:
- Linux x86_64
- Windows x86_64
Current status
This is alpha software.
Expect bugs, rough edges, incomplete documentation, packaging issues, and missing features. This release is intended for early testing and feedback, not production use.
What to try
- Open or create a model
- Explore dimensions, groups, cubes, and rules
- Change drivers and observe downstream recalculation
- Try the financial modelling workflow shown in the demo video
