What's New

Desktop Notifications

• New Notifications tab in Settings to configure which pattern groups trigger desktop notifications
• Receive notifications for tells, channels, or any custom pattern group when the app is in the background
• Test notification button to verify setup is working

Pattern Groups

• New Patterns tab in Settings to create and manage regex pattern groups
• Pattern groups can be used to filter messages into panes and trigger notifications
• Patterns are now separate from pane configuration for better flexibility

Quality of Life

• Aliases now apply immediately without requiring a restart
• Settings window size increased for better usability
• Menu items are now properly clickable

Notes

• On macOS, notifications show the app icon in production builds (may show generic icon in dev mode)
• Pattern groups are stored in ~/.config/mud-client/patterns.yaml
• Notification settings are stored in ~/.config/mud-client/notifications.json
