Price-aware Device Scheduling

AURUM can now run devices on cheap grid power — even without PV surplus. Works with any electricity price sensor (Tibber, Nordpool, aWATTar, EPEX Spot, etc.).

New Features

  • PricingManager module — reads price (ct/kWh), price level, and cheap period sensors
  • Per-device price mode — choose between Solar only (default) and Solar + cheap grid
  • Max price threshold — set a maximum price per device (e.g., "run dishwasher below 25 ct/kWh")
  • Electricity price sensor — new sensor.aurum_electricity_price with price level and cheap period as attributes
  • Config flow — 3 new global price entity selectors + per-device price_mode and max_price settings

How to use

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → AURUM → Configure
  2. In Energy & Battery, set your price sensor(s)
  3. Edit a device and set Price mode to "Solar + cheap grid"
  4. Optionally set a Maximum price threshold

Compatibility

Works with: Tibber Prices, Nordpool, aWATTar, EPEX Spot, or any sensor providing electricity prices in ct/kWh.
