CLIF v0.1.0

Initial public pre-release of CLIF, a Windows UI automation toolkit with a scriptable CLI and local MCP server.

Included

  • Self-contained Windows win-x64 and win-arm64 CLI archives.
  • Self-contained Windows win-x64 and win-arm64 MCP server archives.
  • SHA-256 checksums, a CycloneDX SBOM, and a machine-readable release manifest.
  • LICENSE, NOTICE.md, and GETTING_STARTED.txt in every binary archive.

Compatibility and scope

  • Requires Windows 10 or 11 and an unlocked interactive desktop session.
  • The MCP server is intended for trusted local development sessions.
  • Review the security guidance before allowing an agent to launch applications or send input.

Verification

The release workflow verified the tag, canonical version, dated changelog entry, locked dependency graph, build, unit tests, integration tests, WPF UI tests, cross-platform fixture tests, and MCP end-to-end tests. GitHub artifact attestations were generated for the release archives and integrity metadata.
