First release of Arx Libertatis VR: Arx Fatalis in virtual reality, built on Arx Libertatis and OpenXR.
Features
- Full body: your body follows the headset and controllers; lean, crouch for real, and walk around your room.
- Physical melee: draw your weapon from over your shoulder and swing it; faster, wider swings hit harder. Fists work too.
- Shield block: hold your shield up towards an attacker to block part of the hit (better with the Defense skill).
- Bow: nock an arrow and pull the string with your hand.
- Magic: draw the runes in the air with your hand; precast spells, runes shown on your wrist.
- Hands-on interface: inventory above your wrist, the book and notes held in your hands, health and mana on your wrist,
a potion wheel, grabbing, throwing and pulling objects to your hand, a torch you can hang on your belt. - Comfort: snap or smooth turning, comfort vignette, recentering, pause when the headset is taken off.
- VR settings page in the options menu, on-screen keyboard for naming saved games.
Requirements
- Windows 10/11, 64-bit.
- A PC VR headset with SteamVR or the Meta Quest PC app (Quest Link / Air Link). Quest through Virtual Desktop
