Excalibur View 0.6.3
Markup text no longer floods the sheet: the labels showing each markup's text over the drawing are off by default. Select a markup to see its own, or turn them all on under View, Markup Text on Sheet. Measurements still show their lengths and areas as drawn in the file. The View menu's ticks (rulers, grid, snapping) now match what is actually on.
ExcaliburView.exe: the desktop app. Double-click it on each computer. It installs itself for that person, opens, and finds the office's server by itself.

Claude now works in the free app: Help, Connect Claude no longer needs an office server. Claude can see what you have open, read and look at sheets, total the drawing's takeoff, and propose markups and scales with a Fix button; with an office server it can also read the office's jobs. Drop several PDFs on the window and they all open; drop a tool chest (.evtools, .bpx or .btx) and it loads. Arrows, ticks and crosses that showed as empty boxes now draw properly. Links in the program go to excaliburct.com. For offices: administrators are told a month before their license's updates end. Includes 0.6.1's rounded icons and tool tiles.

New icons: every icon is drawn with rounded lines, and the drawing and measuring tools sit on blue tiles - quiet while they wait, bright under the pointer and in your hand - so the tools that put marks on a drawing stand apart from the rest of the toolbar. Everything is where it was. (0.6.0 brought the new name, Excalibur View Office and our own tool chest format, .evtools.)

Hyperview 0.6.0
Hyperview is now Excalibur View. Same program, same files, same office server, same sign-ins: the name on the window, the shortcut and Settings > Apps changes, and the old shortcut is replaced. The desktop app stays free for one person. Sharing through an office server is Excalibur View Office: offices already running a server keep it free for good, a new office gets 30 days to try it, and nothing is ever locked - without a license everyone can still open, read and export everything; only sharing new work pauses. Studio > Office > License shows where the office stands and takes a license file. Tool chests have their own format now (.evtools): Load Tool Chest still takes Revu profiles and turns them into one, File > Save Tool Chest As writes one, and every tool, colour, label and weight comes across. Claude's list of sets tells current drawings from superseded ones.

Claude at the screen: with Claude Desktop connected (Help, Connect Claude), Claude can see what you have open, read and look at a sheet, open drawings, point at things, run the office's checks, and propose markups, scales and fixes that appear with a Fix button - nothing is drawn until you click. Help, Test Claude Connection says exactly what is stopping it when it does not work. FabWire now uses Hyperview in place of Bluebeam: one project per bid, reissued drawings supersede the old ones and bring their takeoff across marked for checking, exact counts, and a finished bid is archived rather than deleted. hyperview:// links open a set at a sheet. Fix buttons in plugin results now work.

Move markups by dragging them with the arrow (Select), which is now always on the toolbar with Pan, Zoom, Undo and the rest; the arrow keys nudge what is selected. A text box or shape is picked up from anywhere inside it. Every tool Hyperview has is now on a toolbar and in the menus: arrange, align and flip, line colour, width, style and arrowheads, typewriter, notes, flags, eraser, redaction, OCR, full screen. Quantity and slope on any measurement: set ×6 in Properties and every total, weight and export counts six; give a rafter its pitch and it is measured up the slope. Plugins: an office's own tools, signed and handed out by the office's server, in a new Plugins menu. Dialogs no longer creep wider on their own.

Every tool in your profile now shows up, from every tool chest you have, with Hyperview's own toolbars when a profile has none. Saving to the office file share works while someone else has the drawing open; if they changed it, both sets of markups are kept. Studio is on the left rail. The Markups list pulls up from the bottom of the window, groups any way you like, and exports to Excel, CSV, JSON, XML, HTML and PDF, with your profile's custom columns worked out. Help > Connect Claude lets Claude Desktop read the office's projects and takeoffs, and other programs such as FabWire can be given a key under Other programs. The version number is in the title bar. The server now tells the Excalibur Fleet who is connected.

Updates arrive on their own and say so: a bar across the top says a new version is ready, with Restart now. Help > Check for Updates asks there and then.
