Archived: Camera Bridge 1.0 (Mac)
Pre-releaseArchived (October 2026). This is the earlier Camera Bridge for Mac, which is no longer updated. A new Camera Bridge for Mac is coming soon. For now, Camera Bridge OS (beta) is the way to run Camera Bridge: see the newest os-v* release or https://www.camera-bridge.app/download. Copies already installed keep working.
Camera Bridge 1.0 is the first public release. It is free for personal use.
Camera Bridge runs on your Mac and puts your IP cameras in Apple Home, with HomeKit Secure Video recording, live view, motion and doorbell events. You don't need an NVR: plug in ONVIF or RTSP cameras and Apple Home records them.
Highlights
- Cameras: ONVIF and RTSP cameras, with camera events from Hikvision, Reolink, Tapo, Amcrest/Dahua and DoorBird.
- Integrations: UniFi Protect (API key). Google Nest (Device Access). Ring, Tuya and Wyze through the bundled go2rtc helper. A Wyze v3/Pan v3 RTSP preset.
- Motion: built-in motion detection for cameras that send no events.
- Live view: hardened for Macs on two networks and for VPNs, with self-recovery when a stream stalls.
- Updates: automatic, through Sparkle.
Install
- Download the DMG.
- Drag Camera Bridge to Applications.
- Open it.
It needs macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later. The app is signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
