No "create raid" button

Explain what happens

Hi everyone
,
I'm trying to create a NAS with a Raid. It's the first time for me and I'm experiencing issues that I don't see happening in YouTube video.

Basically, they show that there's a + button in the storage tab up right to create the raid but I don't have it.

I have 4 drives:

• SSD for OS
• 2 internal HDD
• 1 external HDD (I still have one more to add, but this is just a test)

(All GTP, all 1TB each)

They have their space completely unallocated because I've read that this is how it should be done.

For some reason, the external HDD keeps being unmounted and mounted every few minutes. I have Kubuntu, it's set on performance mode. I don't have this (un)mounting problem on Windows with this drive.

Before you tell me: I know that this isn't the most efficient setup, but I have only this and I need to make it work. So no trolls please.

Assuming you want to create mdadm raid, then make sure you have mdadm installed and udisks

Look into the system logs, but this is unrelated to Cockpit and more a general Linux system administration issue.

Good morning! In a few days, I'll get access to the PC again. I installed mdadm already. I'll check if udisks is there or not.
