Is there a way to get a recent version on Ubuntu 26.04?

Hi there, I’m finally making the jump from Unraid to a custom set up for my home server and was going back and forth between Debian, Ubuntu and Fedora. I was leaning toward Ubuntu for being a but more up to date than Debian but not as likely to break ZFS compatibility as Fedora with its rapid kernel updates.

I noticed when planning ahead that Cockpit was lagging behind in updates in the Resolute repo with no available backport option. It’s not extremely out of date but it’s on 360 (April) when even Debian has 365 in its Trixie-Backports repo. Noble is more up to date with 362 backported while Stonking has 365 and 367 pending. So my question was if there is any way to install 365 or even 367 manually on Resolute? Or is there some kind of known bug specific to 26.04? I read using Debian repositories can cause conflict with dependencies or other packages so I didn’t want to send it without consulting more knowledgeable folks.

I don't know who does the backports for Ubuntu, so I am afraid we can't help you with getting a newer version.
