The app now updates itself. This is the version to install by hand; the next one arrives on its own.

What's new

  • Auto-update. When Spiral opens, it asks GitHub once whether a newer version exists, and says exactly that in Settings. Turn it off there if you'd rather check manually with the new Check for updates button. Updates download, install, and restart Spiral in one click, and every update is cryptographically signed.
  • The brand mark is back. v1.0.0 shipped with the top-left mark invisible (a build inlined it in a form the app's own security policy blocked). Fixed.
  • The app is now titled Spiral Wallpaper in the Dock, menu bar, and installers.

SHA256SUMS.txt lists checksums. The .tar.gz, .sig, and latest.json files are the auto-update feed; you don't need them.

Upgrading from 1.0.0: install this one manually (1.0.0 predates the updater). From 1.0.1 on, Spiral updates itself.
