PwEevee v0.22.0-alpha.2 — Read Disc

KNOWN ISSUES

This release is working and has been tested, but there are still some bugs and rough edges we're working out.

PwEevee v0.22.0-alpha.2 is the second alpha build of PwEevee, combining SpoTi.pw v0.22.0 with EeveeSpotify v6.6.8.

This build includes fixes and improvements over the previous v0.22.0-alpha release, including working custom app icon support.

What's New

Custom App Icons

Custom app icons are now working.

EeveeSpotify's custom app icon functionality has been successfully integrated into PwEevee and tested with Spotify v9.1.76.

Available icons can be selected through the EeveeSpotify settings.

Unified PwEevee Build

This release combines:

  • SpoTi.pw v0.22.0 as the base
  • EeveeSpotify v6.6.8 integrated into the build
  • Unified IPA packaging
  • Build and validation
  • Decrypted Spotify IPA workflow
  • Release and distribution workflow

Why EeveeSpotify Is Included

SpoTi.pw has provided Spotify modifications such as Hide Ads and Spoof Premium.

Those capabilities are no longer expected to remain available as options in future SpoTi.pw releases. Rather than losing those capabilities entirely, PwEevee brings EeveeSpotify into the SpoTi.pw-based build.

PwEevee is not a replacement for either upstream project. It combines the projects into a unified build while keeping the upstream projects and their contributors properly credited.

Known Issues

The IPA has been tested and is working, but there are still some bugs and unfinished areas we're working out.

You may encounter:

  • Bugs in certain features
  • Unexpected behavior
  • Installation or signing issues depending on your setup
  • Compatibility issues with different Spotify versions
  • Integration issues between components
  • Other bugs that have not yet been discovered

Spotify Version Compatibility

Tested:

  • Spotify v9.1.76

Newer version:

  • Spotify v9.1.84 is newer than the version currently tested with this build and has not been fully tested yet.

For the most reliable experience, use the Spotify version this release was tested against.
